Dear CoP members,
We are excited to introduce our fifth engagement of K-Developedia Series. Today we bring Knowledge Hubs an interview with Sang Uk BAE, the Director General of the Economic Development Cooperation Fund (EDCF) Operations & Services department at the Export-Import Bank of Korea (Korea Eximbank).
Korea Eximbank is an official export credit agency providing comprehensive export credit and guarantee programs to support Korean enterprises in conducting overseas business. Since its establishment in 1976, the bank has actively supported Korea's export-led economy and facilitated economic cooperation with foreign countries.
Sang Uk worked for Korea Eximbank since 1989 in different roles and functions. Currently he is responsible for the overall management of Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) team in the EDCF department. Prior to joining the KSP team, he was accredited to AfDB for two years, mainly taking charge of co-financing projects between Korea Eximbank and AfDB. He received his Master in Public Administration from Seoul National University.
As a director of Korea Eximbank, one of the major players in Korea’s KSP initiatives, Sang Uk shared his experiences and challenges in carrying out knowledge sharing.
