Dear CoP members,

 

For the 17th interview of the K-Developedia Series, we met Kwon Yul, a senior research fellow/ head of Development Cooperation Team at the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP). He has been a member of the Working Committee for International Development Cooperation. His research interests include Southeast Asian economies as well as Korea’s ODA policy. Currently he  studies on the recent development of Korea’s ODA policy and the global response to climate change. 
 
Founded in 1990, the KIEP has played an important role in developing Korea’s international economic policy. KIEP possesses a concentrated knowledge and expertise in topics in economic affairs, such as development cooperation, international macro-economy, trade and investment, as well as trends in emerging economies. With the expertise, KIEP provides advice to the government on developing policy regarding international economy.
 
He shared his wide range of global cooperation and knowledge sharing experiences in this interview.
