This study revealed gender regime worked still as a constraint of
women's social activities in spite of the high population rate and the high
accumulation of social capital of women.
Women's contribution to the social capital accumulation in rural
village got far ahead of men's. However, men monopolized the
representative of community in most of rural villages, because they had
taken for granted the representative of an external network of village was
a role of male, Judging rationally in the formation of social capital within
a village, it is more efficient for women to make a networking with outside
world on the basis of social capital in inner village.
In spite of the high accumulation of social capital of women, outer
networking of women was constrained to sex role. This phenomenon
was explained by gender regime.
There were many overlapped gender inequality in the level of rural
village. These supported the existence of gender regime in community.
Having been limited social participation and social network of
women, successful development of community have been remained also
unfulfilled. To overcome this problem and restructure community
movement, community members must recognize gender problem and
aim to educate democratic community members gender equally.
