Objectives of the Impact Evaluation
The IE study is designed to assess:
• Current effects of Pantawid Pamilya, Conditional Cash Transfer Program
– Impacts on use of health services and health outcomes – Impacts on schooling – Impacts on consumption
• Different impacts on different groups
– – – – Geographic areas Gender IP status Relative poverty
Pantawid’s rigorous evaluation design
Out of the 3,742 households surveyed in 8 municipalities in 2011.
1,418 households
were ELIGIBLE for Pantawid Pamilya
704 in the treatment group (with Pantawid)
Non-eligible for Pantawid Pantawid households Non-Pantawid households
Areas covered: 1. Lanao del Norte 2. Mountain Province 3. Negros Oriental 4. Occidental Mindoro
Note: Survey conducted in October to November 2011. Study is ongoing.

More children stay in school, with better chance to graduate from grade school
