Abstract

In this paper, we measure the quarterly total factor productivity, estimating the constant-returns-to-scale(CRS) production function. And we measure the annual factor productivities of one-digit level industries, applying to the CRS production function the average labor income share by industry calculated from the National Accounts. As the results, the increasing rate of total factor productivity has been declined since 1990. Seeing by industry, while the total factor productivities in the finance, insurance, real estateand business services industry and wholesale and retail trade and restaurants and hotels industry have decreased, their increasing rates in the manufacturing industry, electricity, gas and water industry and construction industry have been declined.
