Frame of Image d risk is sufficiently and properly offered; s e c o n d , whether toxic chemicals are properly controlled and whether countermeasures against a c c i d e n t s are effective; and third, which policy measures can raise the competitiveness of the Korean chemicals industry. Accordingly, the following three subjects were included in the plan 1) promotion of the advancement of toxic chemicals information control, 2) advanced toxicity and safety controls for chemicals, and 3) active responses to international chemical management and strengthened chemical industry competitiveness. The Ministry plans to check the performance of each related task through the continuous operation of the Forum for the Advancement of Chemical Management operated previously to prepare the plan.
