Summar y
To achieve solutions to environmental problems, it can be an efficient and realistic strategy to secure a d d i t i o n a l renewable energy if disposed waste is c o n v e r t e d into energy. The Korean government s p o l i c y objective in pursuing waste-to-energ y c o n v e r s i o n is to comprehensively deem to have effective use and treatment of waste , production of clean energy and creation of new jobs in line with the green growth paradigm. Basic strategies are to i n s t a l l medium- and large-scale public energy conversion facilities and then to induce expansion to s m a l l - and medium-scale facilities and the private s e c t o r s based on this.
