Abstract

This study was performed to analyze the empowerment development process to educational accessability of university and education rights of women with disabilities. This study aims to provide social assistance to improve the accessibility of disabled students to higher educational system. For this study, we had both individual interviews and a focus group interview with 10 participants. The data has been analyzed by qualitative research method case study approach based on Yin's. We could see the educational accessibility of disabled students had positive effects on their self identity and communications for social support. The factors affecting the empowerment process include their degree of self examination, courage, passion for their dreams and high education. In order to improve the empowerment of disabled students, various vocational training courses and educational facilities such as cyber universities and mutual help groups for mentoring and advice, are necessary.
