[English]
KFEA was designed to promote the economic, social, academic and professional status of those who are engaged in the teaching profession through strengthening its nature as a professional body rather than by adopting union methods. There were many teachers’ organizations after the Liberation such as the Korean Education Research Association, the Korean Educational Culture Association, the New Education Association, the Korean Educationalists’ Association, and the Korean Teachers’ Union, but the KFEA was the only survivor after 1960s.
