Students with emotional or behavioral difficulties have damaged the atmosphere of classrooms, or spread their problems to other students. They are infringing other students’ right to learn or causing inconveniences for teachers who are responsible for teaching students properly. ◈ As the society becomes more complex, students will have more diverse demands, which means that schools need specialized competencies to support the teaching and learning of those students.
Ⅱ. Purpose of Study
◈ Identify the status of students who have learning difficulties due to emotional or behavioral difficulties, and analyze the types and levels of difficulties in learning ◈ Fix problematic behaviors of students with emotional or behavioral difficulties in the learning environment; and develop the environment and methods that will enable effective teaching and learning ◈ Develop comprehensive plans to build a learning environment, school system and teaching strategies that will ultimately support students with emotional or behavioral difficulties
