Preface
About half a century ago, Korea was one of the poorest countries in the world, suffering from the colonial period as well as the war. However, Korea has transformed itself from the least developed country, which lacked both capital and technology, to a global industrial powerhouse in the shortest period of time. The successful footsteps of Korea serve as an excellent role model for other developing countries that strive to enter the path of industrialization; this progress will help them reduce failure and take steps forward.
