Abstract

This study was conducted to classify, summarize, and provide historical information, of korea's vocational education and training along with its economic development. it is known that vocational education and training plays an important role in supplying labor force and technology to build economical development. korea joined the oecd/dac in 2009 and the size of its aid is expected to expand. in this sense, comprehensive and systematic analysis and arrangement of the policies and outcomes of vocational education and training in korea is requested from various agencies and ministries to provide korea's knowledge to developing countries. korea had implemented various policies attempting to support vocational education and training in the past to meet the needs of industrial development. this study provides information on many policies combined with other national policies, and outcome with evaluation as much as possible of the development experience so that developing countries may utilize these information in forming their own vocational education and training policies.
