Posted Land Prices is much improved public land price assessing system in terms of balance in the land price and uniformity in valuation practice than previous Based Land Price, Standardized Tax-assessed Value and Current Tax-based Price.
Ten years after the Posted Land Price System was introduced, land policy paradigm has shifted from direct regulation to indirect management in the market, and administrative system nowadays has emphasized more on market information. Therefore overall system for the Posted Land Price should be restructured to formulate the more developed and matured system.
Improvement plan on the Posted Land Price System should stress the following three main points. First, long-term policy directives on the Posted Land system should be clearly defined in the light of overall land policies, and short-term strategies should be carried out steadily within the scope of long-term directives.
