Abstract

A study on the intelligent national territory is composed of six Chapters.
The Chapter 1 deals with the outline including the backgrounds, purposes, scopes, methods, contents, procedures and theoretical reviews.
The Chapter 2 sets up the concept of the intelligent national territory. It summarizes the concept of the intelligence in addition to the intelligent theory, investigates the methods for the intelligent national territory, and then sets up the concept and status of the intelligent national territory.
The Chapter 3 analyzes the promotional situations and problems surrounding the domestic and foreign case of the intelligent national territory. It reviews the individual intelligent national territorial projects promoted by the central government and the current situation of the u-city projects performed by the local governments. The comparison between domestic and foreign cases was performed.
The Chapter 4 performs the delphi survey for the experts such as central government officials, local government officials, relational institutions, GIS specialists, ubiquitous specialists, and research institute's members and suggests the promotional direction for the intelligent national territory.
The Chapter 5 provides the basic frameworks, models, and functions of the intelligent national territory and suggests the five composites to be required for the intelligent national territory as the space domain, infrastructure, data, base technology, and application. It also suggests the construction methodologies to assure the concrete promotional model for the intelligent national territory and provides the common intelligent national territory promotional model and the mixed intelligent national territory promotional model.
The Chapter 6 considers the effects of constructing the intelligent national territory, the characteristics and limitation of this study, and the policy suggestion and future agenda.
The intelligent national territory can be defined as the next generation national territory that provides the service systems for the people, promotes the innovation of national space management, and treats the infrastructures of land, underground, and ocean effectively using the advanced information technologies and communication networks.
This study divides the concept of the intelligent national territory into the land space, underground space, and ocean space. The concept is also divided into eight sectors and the reasonable order is elicited through the preference of users using the survey on the intelligent national territory demands.
This paper suggests the promotional direction for the intelligent national territorial services corresponding to the changes in social economic technological and service, and national territorial space data aspects.
This study suggests the basic models, composites, methodologies, and promotional models for the intelligent national territory.
represents the basic model of the intelligent national territory. The model is composed of the law systems, information technologies, situation information, and technological standards.
The second year's research is planned to guide the innovation of public administration and the promotion of the quality of peoples' life suggesting the innovative alternatives for the concrete national territorial informatization using the first year's results.
