The purpose of this paper is to investigate occupations that is of high probabilities for career-interrupted women to reenter the labor market. A process of 3 steps was performed to find such occupations. Using Employment Insurance and Work-net Database, it has been found occupations that career-interrupted women empirically reemployed with high frequencies and preference. We then surveyed promising jobs through career counsellors and media. In the second step, occupations collected through the first two steps has been assorted and selected as promising jobs.
Finally, we pin down total 55 jobs for career-interrupted women based on the following criteria; 1) easiness to reenter the labor market regardless of age, job experience, and education background, 2) whether job training can help their qualification to reenter the labor market, and 3) whether to challenge them with prior success examples.
