Abstract

Housing welfare is a new field that has been acknowledged through the fourth National Planning with a word of the market-neglected group. However, cognition of housing welfare in the advanced foreign countries underlies the core of policy propositions and there exist various programs assisting housing welfare. Housing welfare programs have diverse aspects. Because of that, housing welfare policies have difficulties in finding who is the main body of enforcement and who is to blame for the result. Another difficult job is to evaluate accomplishment level and achievement satisfaction of housing welfare policies. This research attempts to find out what is housing welfare for the quality of life and how housing welfare can be estimated to keep comfortable residential environment. Chapter 2 conceptualizes housing welfare and quality of life and formulates the relationship between housing policy and welfare policy. Chapter 3 compares domestic and foreign cases for the subject.
