Abstract

This paper attempts to present suggestion on legislative development that took place during the process of Korean economic growth as it can be applied to developing or regime-switching countries by reviewing and analyzing legislative development processes by segment in relation with the economic growth in Korea. It is expected that the analysis and evaluation of the development process of the Korean environmental legislation will present certain suggestions to some developing countries that intend to deploy systems for balanced development and environmental preservation when considering the future development of their environmental laws and legislation. Chapter 2 attempts to analyze the relationship between economic growth and the development of environmental legislation in Korea.
