Abstract

An industrial park is an area of land set aside for industrial development and usually located close to transport facilities. It is easily accessible to seaports, airports and other transportation centers. Besides providing communication facilities and security systems, an industrial park sometimes contains commercial banks, and a post office. Some even have customs offices, schools, hospitals, shopping centers and other facilities needed for investors and workers. In fact, it is becoming a selfsufficient community. With the purpose of fostering key industries and advanced high value-added industries, it has been developed in designated areas where the areas are fallen behind or the areas suitable for those industries.
