The purpose of this study is to find out empirically that mismatch between areas at which women seek their jobs and areas in which there are job opportunities is one reason of women low employment rate. In order to analyze this match, the author uses the concept of potential commute time for the spatial limits that women job seekers are experiencing during job-seeking. The administrative database of the minister of labor and employment's is used for empirical test. The analysis shows that women job-seekers prefer short commute time. Moreover this paper shows that as there is gap between job search area and job opportunity, women job-seekers need to accept longer commute time if they want to increase the possibility of employment. This analysis concludes that policies about women employment rate should consider commute range in designing them if they would be more effective in increasing women employment rate.
