The Ministry of Strategy and Finance (MOSF) of the Republic of Korea (ROK) launched the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) in 2004. Its purpose is to share Korea’s knowledge and experience of successful economic growth and development over the past half century with partner countries eager to formulate and implement their own development policies and strategies. The Korea Development Institute (KDI), with its reputation for quality research in economic development, has been serving as an administrative control tower for 606 programs in 46 countries worldwide. The KSP with Lao PDR began in April 2010 when the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) of Lao PDR submitted a Demand Survey Form to the MOSF of the ROK via the KDI. After review, the program was approved and launched for the first time in July 2010. (The rest omitted)
